Our research focuses are in glycomics, glycoproteomics, and proteomics. Utilizing a combination of liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry we analyze glycans in biological samples, compiling and analyzing data in order to find significant biological information. Using this information we are able to identify possible biomarkers and important biological pathways for illnesses and diseases.

On top of our work in bioinformatics, we also develop methodology to improve the separation of glycans, glycopeptides, and proteins. This allows us to obtain a greater depth of information about our samples as well as enabling us to analyze structures of a more complex nature.
